Good morning Tumblr Land!!
So I decided to get off my butt and do something today. I was working on my midterm for one of my classes, and just needed to get out. I was roughly following the Couch-to-5K program above, and I’M SO SORRY BUT I CAN’T FIND THE SOURCE FOR THAT PHOTO. IT IS NOT MINE.
In any case, I’m pretty proud of what I accomplished. I spent a grand total of about 45 minutes in “workout” mode, doing some in-apartment stretches and moves, then actually going outside. The app I used on my phone is called My Tracks from Google. I think it’s fantastic. It keeps track of how fast I’m going, where I go via GPS, and it backs up to my google+ account and drive.
This is my first time officially “working out” in almost 7 months. I’m pretty happy that I was able to do what I did. There are plenty of service roads around me, so I was able to huff and puff and feel like dying in private. Every mile matters, and I just need to keep telling myself that otherwise I will forget why I started.

I came home, cooled down, drank a ton of water, and now I’m just doing some basic stretches to help prevent lactic acid build up. After a PB and Banana sandwich with some tea, I’ll shower and continue my homework.
I’m sore. My lungs hurt from the 30 degree wind. I can’t stop coughing.
I’m very, very proud of myself right now :)
